Fall Family Festival
With the help of volunteers from Congregation Shalom, dozens of excited children at Penfield’s Fall Family Festival enjoyed decorating pumpkins, painting with apples, pumpkin bowling and beanbag toss for prizes, hunting for prizes in leaf piles, face painting and, of course, healthy snacks and punch to wash it all down. Also on hand were motorcycle and horseback officers from the Milwaukee Police Department.
Held at Penfield on October 15th, the festival was made possible by the planning and volunteer assistance of congregation members as their Mitzvah Day service in the community. The congregation also provided goodie bags for each child.
The Exchange Club of Milwaukee donated 100 pumpkins for the children’s decorating pleasure.
Kohl’s Department Stores continues its generosity as sponsor of parent programs at Penfield.
