April 7th, Thursday 1:00 p.m. Kohl’s Family Learning Center	Transition Planning Conference**
April 5th, Tuesday 10:00-12:00 p.m. Employee Lounge	Speech and Language Development - English Parents and caregivers are invited to come to a presentation by our very own Speech Therapists and Speech Therapy Assistants on Speech and Language development. Childcare will be provided, certificates will be given, refreshments will be served, and every family will receive a free outfit for their Penfield child. There will be a raffle! Bus tickets will be available to attend this event. This session will be provided in English.

May 17th, Tuesday 10:30-12:00 p.m. Kohl’s Family Learning Center	Dealing with the Stress in Your Life - Spanish You are invited to attend a group to talk with other parents of Special Needs Children about the Stress in Your Life and how to deal with it. June Parent Events

*Parent Advisory Group
This group will meet four times a year. Parents will be able to problem solve with staff, brainstorm ideas, as well as participate with events and outreach. This group has helped make significant changes at Penfield. Your thoughts are very important to us, please come and share them. We would love for you to come in and talk to us about your ideas for our Family Programs and what events parents are most interested in. Parents will receive new clothing for their Penfield child. Please come and share your suggestions with us. Incentives, child care, and snacks will be provided!

**Transition Planning Conferences
Transition planning conferences are designed to give parents of children who are approaching their third birthday the opportunity to talk to Penfield staff, Milwaukee Public schools, and Head Start.  Both group time and individual time will be available to discuss your child’s future and the choices that will be yours to make in the near future.  Transition Planning Conference will be offered in English at 1:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday afternoon of the month and at 1:30 p.m. in Spanish.
